About Me

I first started in the beauty industry in 2012, when I qualified in spray tans, brows & waxing. I worked from a spare room alongside studying at university and working part-time in social care.

I took my first step in the world of make-up in 2013, when I was given the position of Retail Assistant at the newly-launched Urban Decay counter in Dundee. It was here that I learned the artistry of makeup, and it was not long before I was promoted to Key Artist in charge of training and artistry. This position took me around the UK - attending events, holding masterclasses and even training other MUA's. I left this position in 2016 to travel South East Asia & Australia for 14 months.

In 2017, I returned to Dundee and of course, picked up my make-up brushes! I set up my home studio, where I continue to work today. I undertook several more beauty courses, with focus on brow & lash services. 

​

In the last few years, I have been a pro-MUA & beautician alongside undertaking my BSc in Psychology & Counselling. I feel like this qualification has lended itself to my work, as I pride myself on creating a meaningful rapport with all my clients. I truly enjoy listening & learning about them as people - as well as providing a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on sometimes!

I now also run my own photography business - Photography By Hana. 

I am passionate about making my clients look and feel their best, and welcome clients of every gender, age and walk of life.
